Zoey Perry was blinded in an accident and became an orphan. Her uncle's family adopted her for the inheritance and forced her to marry Joseph Ford, who was very ill. On the wedding day, Joseph awoke and Zoey was injured but regained her sight. For her own safety, she still pretended to be blind. Years later, she had a large company with the fake name Mindy Xavier and Joseph returned to the country, falling in love with her. Her uncle's greedy family constantly harassed Zoey, forcing her to reveal the location of the family inheritance. Zoey intended to stop pretending, but she learned from cousin Wendy that the car accident years ago was not an accident but intentional. She started to looking for evidence while Joseph began investigating Zoey's alter ego Mindy. After a series of events, she confessed to him about her identity. They finally obtained evidence of the staged accident, and her uncle was punished by law. Wendy tried to harm Zoey but she recovered. Joseph expressed his feelings for her and they become a real happily married couple.
